Core Family Support Services exists to bridge the gap between adults with disabilities and the systems designed to serve them. Too often, families face confusing paperwork, fragmented services, and a lack of guidance — leaving real needs unmet.
We provide coordinated, compassionate support that helps individuals access SSI, CalFresh, housing, transportation, mental health resources, and more. Our team walks alongside each person — not just through a single application, but through the full journey toward independence and stability.

Khalib Johns
Chief Executive Officer
Khalib Johns is a servant leader whose life has always centered on family and community. Raised with a deep appreciation for the strength that family provides, Khalib has built his personal and professional life around those same values — showing up for others, advocating for those who need it most, and creating systems of support that reflect genuine care. His academic foundation reinforces everything he does in the field. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and a Master's degree in Administration, Khalib brings both a deep understanding of human behavior and social systems and the organizational expertise to translate that understanding into effective, sustainable services. These disciplines didn't just shape his credentials — they shaped his approach, giving him the tools to design programs that are both people-centered and operationally sound. As a former Division I athlete and team captain, Khalib understood early that leadership means more than performance — it means using your platform to lift others. He served his teammates and the community surrounding his university with the same intentionality he brings to his work every day. That foundation of service shaped everything that followed. Khalib founded Core Family Support Services to address a critical gap he witnessed firsthand: families across California navigating complex systems alone, without the guidance or resources they deserved. His mission is straightforward — to ensure that every adult with a disability and every family supporting them has a trusted partner in their corner. Serving and empowering communities is not just his profession; it is his life's work.

Keary Johns is the founder of his own community-focused company serving families across California, bringing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Social Work that ground his practice in both clinical insight and a deep understanding of the social systems that shape people's lives. His expertise and collaborative spirit were instrumental in shaping the service model and quality standards that Core Family Support Services was built upon, and his ongoing partnership continues to bring added depth and reach to our mission — ensuring more California families receive the coordinated, compassionate support they deserve.
